Remote Assistance Introduction

Remote assistance allows our technicians to remotely control, diagnose, and fix your computer.  YOU CAN ACTUALLY WATCH AS THE TECHNICIAN CONTROLS YOUR MOUSE AND KEYBOARD.  The pre-requisite is a fast Internet connection such as DSL or Cable Modem.  Please feel free to call, or submit a support request using the online support portal link above, if you have any questions about this service.

Remote assistance benefits both parties.  eSmith technicians can get more work done by spending less time traveling.  This in turn equates into lower operating costs which we pass on to you, the customer.

 

Supported Platforms

Our remote support system allows us to remotely support Microsoft Windows based PCs and servers, Apple Mac systems, Linux systems, Windows Mobile Phones, and the Blackberry line of smartphones.

  

Instructions

To obtain immediate assistance click on the link below to open the Support Portal.  You will be able to enter a session ID if you have initiated a support request via phone or support request ticket, or you will be able submit a support request including a description of your issue if you have not previously contacted support. 

  

Billing Information

Existing clients will be billed at current negotiated rates.  All others are billed at $85 per hour (.5 hour minimum, billed in .25 hour increments thereafter.

 

Availability

Technicians are normally available from 8:00AM to 5:00PM eastern time, Monday through Friday.  If you have an emergency please call our support line at   704-334-1252.
